Welcome to Roadrunners Guesthouse, Bed & Breakfast (B&B) style accommodation in Christchurch, New Zealand.
We welcome you to enjoy a stay in a friendly smokefree environment. Clean, comfortable and affordable! We are located in a quiet area of Christchurch, only 4km from the International Airport and near the main routes to the North, South and West.
Shopping malls and restaurants are nearby and across the road there is golfing, the Riccarton Racecourse, and the largest South Island market.
Dare to discover Christchurch and its surroundings as it has so much to offer, even in winter!
We invite you to share sports experiences and to live the "Kiwi-way" in our sunny spacious Fraemohs house. Or just relax in the guest's private garden with solar heated swimming pool amongst native bush.
To give our lives a change we immigrated from the Netherlands in 2001 to this beautiful scenic country where the outdoors can be explored and enjoyed to the utmost all year round. Our cycling and hiking trips created the idea to start a Bed & Breakfast to encourage others to come and "see and do" New Zealand.
We settled down in Christchurch the "garden city" and also the city of "arts and crafts". This city and its surroundings have so much to offer that it is certainly worthwhile visiting. So on arrival or before departure why not stay a little longer to fully discover Christchurch.
Your sporty hosts can share their cycling, walking and running experiences with you; give information about what's on; assist you with "see and do" trips to interesting sights, and help you prepare adventure tours in the surrounding areas.
Besides sports, our interests are philately, antiques, native plants, wines, art and crafts.
After you have enjoyed a walk, run or bike ride, come and relax in the sunny, spacious garden; take a splash in the lovely pool or treat yourself to a B.B.Q on request organised by your hosts, Rob and Coby.
